The Basic Funeral as defined by The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors code of practice

The Basic Funeral is designed to provide a simple, dignified funeral at a lower price to help families financially and is a set package. A reduced amount for us to do means we are able to offer a reduced cost:

• All professional services including arranging, paying the necessary disbursement fees on your behalf, completing all necessary forms, liaising and delivery of all paperwork to relevant authorities, conducting the funeral and providing necessary staff

• Transferring your loved one into our care during office hours, within 25 miles of our funeral home (small charge for additional miles)

• Professional advice on certification and registration of death

• Supplying of basic coffin with an engraved nameplate and a simple interior (the coffin can be upgraded)

• Preparation and taking care of your loved one

• Use of our Chapel of Rest, Monday to Friday, within our office hours

• Supplying of our hearse and driver to meet you at the funeral

Total £ 2350.00 + Disbursements

At our own Crematorium with no one attending and no funeral ceremony:

• All professional services including arranging, paying the necessary disbursement fees on your behalf, completing all necessary forms, liaising and delivery of all paperwork to relevant authorities and providing necessary staff for the cremation

• Transferring your loved one into our care during office hours, within 25 miles of our funeral home (small charge for additional miles)

• Professional advice on certification and registration of death

• Supplying of basic coffin with an engraved nameplate and a simple interior (the coffin can be upgraded)

• Preparation and taking care of your loved one

• Viewing of your loved one in our chapel of rest, Monday to Friday, within our office hours (there is a small charge for this service)

• We can inform you of the day of the cremation if you wish

Total: £ 1330.00 + Crematorium fee for an unattended direct cremation

Please note: Unlike other direct cremation providers, there is no delay in cremating your loved one and the cremation will take place at our own Crematorium and not a Crematorium 100+ miles away. There is also no additional cost for you to have your loved ones cremated remains, they will be ready for you to collect from our Funeral Home the next working day after the cremation.
