What you need from a funeral director is for them to deal with everything for you so as to take away any unnecessary additional stress. You want them to be proactive but also available when you need help & to respond to communication quickly. On the day, you want them to be quietly organised & take care of everything for you. We cannot thank Thornalley's enough for how they went about these things following the passing of our dear mum & for their thoughtful attention & impeccable service.

Auntie Ree, the best auntie I could have ever had. Always so caring, kind and patient. You gave me so many fond childhood memories - a favourite being the summer we tried to dig to Australia in your garden and you'd pop your head out at the end of each day to check we'd filled it in just enough so the cat wouldn't fall in it overnight. I wish you'd had more time here, we will all miss you so much. Rest in peace now, all my love Vicky xxx
