I have so many amazing memories with my dad, but nothing compares to watching my boys love there Grandad as much as I do, being a Grandad was one of my dads favourite things, I’m so glad I was able to give him that title and watch him thrive at being the best Grandad to my boys. Jamie couldn’t have been a better person. So genuine, kind and caring. Couldn’t have welcomed me anymore into the family. A father in law everyone would have wanted. Supportive in everything I did and showed everyone too. Was only a couple of years however a life full of memories! Thank you for everything jamie!

Sam Carter

A chat was always lovely with you, Jamie because of your warm and friendly nature. You were a pleasure to be around and easy to have a laugh with. I will miss you. xx

Having known Jamie through work for such a short period of time, I can only imagine the impact his passing has had on his family and friends, who have known him considerably longer. I always found him helpful, supportive and genuine, qualities that often don't come naturally, but they did for him. AW will not be the same without him.

Amanda Parkes

Always had a laugh in him and happy to help anyone, a genuine gent. Will be sorely missed.

Bobby Samelak-Pain

It was one the best decisions I've made to offer Jamie a job 25 years ago. He gave such dedicated service to Anglian Water to all this time, nothing ever was too much trouble. The loveliest and most genuine of guys, he made friends where ever he went. A true professional who always carried a smile on his face. It was a real honour to work this time with you Jamie and to share laughs and beers with you. You'll be so missed by me and so many friends across our business

Ian Rule

I've really struggled to find the words to write this. Other than being the best manager you were also the most funny, kind and thoughtful person, a great friend that I will miss dearly. I just hope you know how much you meant to us all. It really is the best that are taken too soon. I will miss the encouragement and support you always gave me, you were our biggest champion, and seeing your face light up when you talked about your family, especially your little grandsons. I hope your time can now be spent forever wearing shorts, with endless golf & fishing, plain sandwiches and looking down on your family. You will be missed more than you could ever know. Rest in peace Jamie xxx

Steph Wilding

Jamie.. These are words I truly hoped I wouldn't have to write, but I wanted to say Thankyou, you believed in me before I believed in myself, without you I wouldn't have this job so thanks for the push. Always such a kind and gentle person who made time in your busy day for people no matter what. You will be greatly missed. Sweet Dreams Jamie xx

Claire Kelly

PPV GROUP LTD

This is this one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, you were one of my best friends having known you since I was 4 years old, going to school together, hanging out as teenagers and drinking a bit too much in our 20s, going to the football and concerts with you. Making some great memories on the way. Was such a joy when we ended up working together 15 years ago, who gets the chance to work with one of your oldest friends. I got used to you being around and having you at the end of the phone when I needed a quick chat, although we never did agree on the best football team!. I’ll never forget you mate and I’ll miss you every day. I can’t quite get my head round it yet that your gone and I don’t think I ever will. Sleep tight Jamie, love you mate.

John Rose

The most incredible of colleagues, friends and neighbours. Still struggling to believe what's happened. You'll be missed by a cast of thousands, Jama, for the warmth of your smile and your amazing generosity as a workmate, always making time to help and support everyone. Gone far too soon, loved by so many, our memories of you will always be held close. Sleep well my friend xxx
