RIP Dr Jelfs. You were a proper family doctor and very much respected. You came and got me out of a telephone box when I had an epileptic fit and took me home. You also saved the life of our grandad with your quick actions. You were always there for the whole Russell family, to give us help and support. You will always be remembered.

My own doctor for over 25 years and my own family’s doctor for many years. Such a sad loss of a great man. Condolences to his sons- one whom i attended school with, and all of his family . Such a sad loss, Dr Jelfs was one of the kindest, patient, caring Drs to have ever graced the profession. Always had time, and made time for his patients, was my Doctor for many years though childhood well into adulthood and it is soley thanks to his determination and willingness to look outside of the known box that he was able to help with my health difficulties. RIP Dr Jelfs, you were the best. Condolences to all of his family x

Bryan was the senior partner at a time of great change in the local healthcare landscape and was instrumental in the growth and success of our practice. Bryan was a good listener. Taking a keen interest in the lives of patients, staff and colleagues. He will be remembered with fondness for his unique blend of expertise and empathy, for his quirky sense of humour and his strong sense of advocacy as a GP.

He was a kind and funny grandfather

Dr Jelphs was the most caring doctor, who looked after myself and my family. He actually examined you, to find out the problem with you. The number of times he told my husband off for not going to him sooner, rather than waiting for months before seeing him. Even when he retired he would still stop you in the street and ask how the family was. He was a legend and will be sorely missed. My condolences to all of his family.

Excellent service from start to finish, very professional friendly staff. As this was the first funeral I’ve had to arrange I was unsure of what to do, I was guided through everything with ease and everything went smoothly.
