Geoff...a man who made everyone around him better and focus on the positive and fix the negative. Geoff came into our unit just months before two major inspections. He put the needed “finishing touches” on our section and helped bring home two excellent ratings. I would not have had the military career I had if I had not met Geoff. We under staffed, under funded, and moral was low. The smile and laugh he brought to work everyday helped to turn this all around. Your service and friendship will never be forgotten my brother in arms.

Geoff... You were an amazing person to work with, smart, intelligent and hard working. More importantly just an absolute pleasure to be around. You are surely going to be missed. My prayers go out to your family and friends. RIP!

Geoff..... One of a kind. A true professional and a true gentleman. Always had time to listen and understand and always the voice of reason and clarity in any situation. It was a pleasure to have known you for so long and you will be greatly missed. Rest easy mate.

Geoff was my big brother only a year and a half apart. He was the first one to buy a motorcycle, in a bucket I might add put it together and taught me how to ride in the back field where we grew up in Stanley. He taught me many things and was always there to listen even after he went on to join the Air Force. I miss him and will see him again someday. Love you Geoff.

Geoff was an amazing son, eldest of five. He was the most inquisitive child a parent could have, always wanting to know how everything worked and I was amazed at how he always seemed to be able to put most anything together and make it work. He kept me busy just trying to stay one step ahead of him, which I don’t really think I ever managed! Geoff loved to help others and was a happy-go-lucky child and teen. After he got his driver’s license, he was determined to get his own car and we told him if he wanted one, he had to get and pay for it himself, as well as insurance, upkeep, and gas. He bought his first car from an older couple and took very good care of it, paying for everything himself. So glad we had a great visit last October, and that I had the opportunity to see him a few days before he left us. I miss him every day and will forever carry him in my heart. Love you always Geoff and see you again.

I never had the pleasure to meet Geoff in person but feel close to him as we shared the great hobby of radio restoration. He taught me a lot. Rest in peace
